1. Sales management/ Strategic Planning: • Oversee sales operations for vegetable, flower, and agricultural materials. • Conduct market research and develop strategies for product positioning, promotion, and sales targets. • Planning, Execution & Follow-up for Plot Demo, Farmer meetings, Dealer Meetings, Reverse Promotion at Wholesale & Retail Markets for creating demand for new varieties • Forecasting – Short term & Long Term • Establishment, monitoring, motivating sales channel to achieve the set target • Handle budgeting and cost optimization for his BO/Territory
2. Product Development • Plan and execute product development strategies for his territory • Involve in trial evaluations at zonal farms and outstation trials (OT & ET) as per guideline by section chief. • Coordination with Section chief for Demonstrations for Sales Channel, Farmers, etc at PD Farm or at Expanded Trial.
3. Administration: • Manage administrative tasks within the BO/Territory – Monitor & Control Expenses of BO, Timely submissions of Expenses, Various Reports, Forecasts,

5. Business Development: • Develop short, mid, and long-term growth plans BO/Territory. • Identify new business opportunities for horizontal growth, such as entering fresh business sectors or agricultural inputs.
6. Financial/Sales Management: • Monitor Sales (Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly) for Target & Achievement. • Monitoring inventory in ERP for Slow Moving varieties and Overstock.
7. Promotion and Advertising: • Planning & coordination for promotional and advertising activities with Section chief & Designer (GAS).
8. Digital Marketing: • coordinate with Section chief & MDD Digital Marketing In-charge.
9. Nursery Business Oversight: • Prepare sales Target for Nursery business and achieve the same.
10. Meeting Arrangements: • Organize monthly meetings at Branch Office, Quarterly Meetings- Presentations & Meeting Minutes recording.
11. Training and Development: • Conduct training sessions for subordinates by Proposing both internal and external trainers.
12. Legal Compliance: • Ensure compliance with seed licenses, variety registration • Handling all kinds of complaints from customers like Germination/order related etc. • Coordination with HRU and Section chief to handle consumer/Legal cases. • Signing Dealership agreements and renewal of same in time.
13. Performance Management: • Evaluate the performance of subordinates. • Recommend rewards, punishments, promotions, and demotions as necessary.
